Day 115-Pretty Much a True Day of Rest

July 11-0 miles-Appalachian Motel

The sun came out today, and we were able to dry everything. I found one hitchhiking slug on my tent...yuck.

While we still had enough food for the next 2 1/2 day section, we had no food to eat here. I tried to see if there were any Uber or Lyft drivers to take us to the grocery store, but alas, there were none. So, we walked. Okay, it was only a mile, but a rather treacherous mile at times since there were no sidewalks.

The grocery would have been an excellent place for resupply. Of course it was also a good place to get some healthy town food. I got some coconut lime quinoa. It was delicious!

The rest of the day was spent, well...resting. Unfortunately, a thunderstorm rolled through, and we got more rain. Hopefully, the trail will still dry some before we return to it tomorrow. At least there was this nice rainbow.
